Have you ever had a day that you spend hours on the phone doing all those chores that you've put off for a long time?
That's been my day so far. I would rather be knitting or crocheting. Maybe later today. I've started working on a new pattern for a ruffly loofa with a twist. Hopefully I'll be posting the pattern and some pics here soon. So check back.

Yikes!!! Does anyone have any Debbie Mumm Yarn?
WOW!!!! I just looking for a yarn that was made for Joann Crafts, called Debbie Mumm Traditions. Nothing on Joann's site, it's no longer available. Not even on eBay. How could it all disappear that quickly? They may no longer sell it BUT, surely it's out there somewhere.
If anyone has seen Debbie Mumm or has Debbie Mumm Traditions Yarn, please let me know, I really loved the stuff.

Fiber and Yarn Festival Announcement
Since I love anything that is related to yarn and fiber, I wanted to add this website to my blog. It's information about a new (First Time) fiber festival in Kentucky, May 15 and 16 2010.
First Annual Kentucky Sheep and Fiber Festival
The Festival is being held in conjunction with the world-famous Bluegrass Classic Stockdog Trial. The site has general info about the festival, info for vendors and an amazing list of classes for all types of yarn crafts, including spinning and weaving. If you're in the Kentucky area or plan to be make sure to check out the website and mark your Calendars.

Got to get started sometime

It seems like time gets away soooo quickly. Almost a year since the last post. Isn't that terrible?
I've been working on eBay and Etsy and starting lots of new knitting and crochet projects. And oh Yes.... Teaching my oldest Grandaughter to crochet and knit. Currently she prefers to crochet and now she's selling some of her projects on Etsy along with me. Right now she's working on a vintage design that she found here
Groovy Scarf
Currently one of my favorite passtimes is locating the older Ironstone wools and mohairs and of course I'm an avid eBay purchaser. I spend way too much time looking for gorgeous yarns and threads and spending way too much money. But, I intend to curb this urge and get back to posting and showing some pics of our work.... So, Stay Tuned...
